I've noticed multiple PowerShell instances running on my computer, and they're consuming a lot of RAM. They start at about 500 MB each and gradually use more memory over time. This issue kicks in when I boot up my computer, and as soon as I terminate them in Task Manager, my system performance improves. I'm worried this might be malicious activity. If it is, how can I get rid of it? If not, what could it be?

It definitely sounds suspicious. The high RAM usage and the fact that it starts automatically point to potential malware. I recommend considering a complete rebuild of your machine to be safe. Just make sure when you do, you create a separate admin account and don’t use it for daily tasks to minimize risk.

Aw sheesh man, this is such a pain. So I have to reinstall Windows and all? Should I do it ASAP?
