I'm having a bit of a debate with my brother. I've been using my PS5 controller cable to charge my power bank by plugging it into a wall USB port. I've been doing this every day, but my brother believes it might be damaging the cable. Does anyone know if using the cable this way could cause any harm to it?

Just to clarify, you're talking about the USB cable for your controller, right? I don't think using it to charge your power bank would really damage it, as long as you're using the right voltage.
Yeah, the cable itself should handle that fine, but just be careful not to use a wall plug that outputs more voltage than it can handle.
