I'm looking to upgrade my nearly 10-year-old PC and build a new one from scratch to ensure it's future-proofed for gaming. My friend helped with my current setup, but I want to take the reins this time. I'm not super experienced with case tolerances or anything like that, so I'm wondering if anyone sees any potential issues with my current build. I've shared my parts list and would appreciate any advice or insights. Specifically, I'll primarily be gaming at 1440p and would like this build to last for a while without going overboard.

Honestly, I think your chosen processor and motherboard are more than what you need. You could go for something less expensive and still get great performance. Also, consider a less elaborate cooler and keep an eye out for sales on power supplies; 850W should be plenty for your setup.
You might want to consider what you're primarily using this PC for. The Ryzen 9 9950X is an amazing CPU, but if gaming is your main focus, there are more cost-effective options out there that could give you similar performance without the high price tag.
Totally agree. The 9950X is powerful, but you could save a bit and still have great performance for gaming.
It's essential to clarify what you want this build to do. "Future-proofing" is tricky because what seems good now may not be later. Also, regarding physical space—some of these components might be too much for certain cases, so make sure to double-check those dimensions!
Good point! I'm definitely looking to avoid any physical constraints. The main goal is to handle gaming at 1440p without issues for a good while.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm mostly gaming, but I might dabble in some game development or video editing later. I'm just looking to ensure it runs well for 1440p gaming in the years to come.
