I'm working on an interior design project for a hypothetical AWS regional office with a total of 45 employees. The team includes roughly equal numbers in Sales, Engineering, and Admin roles, and I'm struggling to find information on how to layout an office of this size. I'm interested in understanding the best setup for team leaders, desk ratios, necessary roles for such a small office, and the essentials for making it functional and professional. I'm also curious about the practicality of having dedicated quiet rooms versus a larger training room. Any insights would be super helpful!

For the layout, most modern IT offices prefer an open plan with no assigned desks, allowing flexibility. Team leaders often sit among their teams rather than in separate offices. As for desks, hot-desking works well here since many sales staff travel frequently. However, you'd still want to make sure everyone can fit on the days they come into the office, typically around Tuesday and Thursday. Plus, don't forget to include some casual meeting spots, as well as rooms with screens for hybrid meetings!
Thanks for the advice! Would you say a communal kitchen is a must?

That sounds spot on for my experience too!
