I recently built a PC and ended up buying RAM during the crisis. I mistakenly got a CL36 5600 2x16 DDR5 RAM set, which is different from the CL30 6000 I intended to buy. Both were priced the same, and now I'm feeling quite down about it. Will this actually make any noticeable difference in performance?

You could probably tweak it to get closer to 6000 MHz, so don’t sweat it too much. Even if there’s a difference, it’s minor and most people won’t even notice it while gaming.
It's kinda like asking how long a piece of string is. It really depends on your setup and what you're doing. If you're gaming at 1080p, you might see a slight dip in FPS if your CPU is the bottleneck, but usually it's just a 5% impact at most.
At the end of the day, be glad you snagged some RAM before prices got worse! Having slightly slower RAM is better than having no RAM at all, right?
Honestly, you probably won't notice much of a difference, especially if you're not monitoring performance metrics while gaming. Most users just don’t push their RAM that hard during regular use.
Thanks for the reassurance!
Lol, at least you got RAM! Could've been worse!
Yeah, it'll mainly impact your 1% lows during heavy use, but don't let it get to you! You got what you needed, and that’s what really counts.

Got a Ryzen 5 9600x and RX 9060xt. So probably mid-level performance for me.
