Hey everyone! I previously had an RTX 2060 paired with a Ryzen 5 3600, but I recently upgraded to a Ryzen 5 7600 and added 32GB of DDR5 5600MHz RAM. I just bought a 5060 Ti with 16GB for $430, but I'm hearing a lot of criticism saying I should have spent an extra $120 for the 5070. I mainly play games like Squad and Escape from Tarkov at 1440p, where my 2060 has been struggling a bit lately. Considering my setup and the games I play, did I make a good choice with the 5060 Ti, or should I cancel and go for the 5070 instead?

The 5060 Ti (16 GB) is actually a solid choice! Don't let the toxic gamer bros get to you. Once the next-gen consoles hit, a lot of new games are going to demand more than 12 GB of VRAM, so you’ll find that extra VRAM useful.

First part seems right, but I think the whole VRAM thing might be a bit overblown with nVidia's texture compression.
