I've been using a USB WiFi adapter for a while now, but recently it stopped connecting properly. I can see my WiFi network, but it says there's 'No internet.' Assuming the USB adapter was just cheap and faulty, I bought a new PCIe adapter. I installed it, updated the drivers, and connected to my WiFi, but I'm still facing the same problem. Windows' troubleshooter mentions that the DNS server isn't responding but gives no advice on how to fix it. I've tried a bunch of solutions I found online, like flushing the DNS, restarting my router and PC, and even using the 'netsh winsock reset' command. Nothing seems to work, so I'm out of ideas on what to do next.

Have you tried manually setting the DNS on your Windows system? You can switch it to your router's IP address or try using another DNS server like Cloudflare or Google's DNS. It might help resolve the issue.
So does that mean you just updated the IPv4 DNS settings to use the router's DNS? I'm a bit confused about that part.

Thanks for the suggestion! I managed to fix it by reinstalling the drivers for my PCIe adapter. Just unzipped the same files I had before, and now it works fine. Still not sure why it acted up or how the USB adapter caused all this.
