Hey everyone! We're rethinking how we manage our software licenses and noticed some users only need specific licenses. I know everyone should have at least the P1/Intune license plus a standard one to use Microsoft services, but what about our admins, like global and security admins? Should they all be getting M365 E5 licenses to access nearly all the features Microsoft offers? What's the reasoning behind giving admins top-tier licenses?

How do admins manage MFA without a license? I’m curious about this too since we’re starting conditional access measures. Does this mean no license means only the Entra P1 add-on license applies? Or do admins get free access for MFA?
Great question! I’d love to know how this works as well. My assumption was that without a license, we'd have limitations on MFA.
