Do I Need a GPU Support for My New Build?

I'm building my first PC inside a Corsair 3500x case, and I'm planning to use a PNY GeForce RTX 5070 GPU along with an ASUS TUF B850M-E WIFI motherboard. Since it's my first time with a triple-fan GPU, I'm wondering if I should get a support bracket due to the GPU's weight. What do you all think?

I've never used one myself and I've had a 3090 FTW3 without issues. If your GPU is really heavy, though, it might be a different story.

Definitely! GPU support brackets are pretty cheap, often under $30, and they can save you from potential damage caused by sag. You can even be creative and find something around your house, like a book or even toys, to use as a support. It's a fun chance to get inventive!

You can find adjustable all-metal GPU supports on sites like AliExpress for just a few bucks. They work great!

There's really no reason to skip the GPU support. You can buy a budget one or even try to rig something yourself. Not all GPUs absolutely need support, but the risk of not using one when it's really needed isn't worth it.

This case actually has an anti-sag bracket already built in. You just need to adjust it for your GPU, so you should be good to go!

Absolutely! New high-end GPUs really should be supported with Anti-Sag Holders. You should definitely get one of those! They help prevent sag and damage over time.

I would personally recommend using one. Just a smart move to protect your investment.
