I'm a bit confused about whether I actually need a USB 3.2 Gen 2 to USB 3.2 Gen 1 header adapter for my setup. I'm looking to use the front panel USB ports on my case, but PCPartPicker is showing a compatibility warning. I've seen others discussing this issue, especially with USB-C scenarios, but my case doesn't have any USB-C ports. Can anyone clarify if this is a real problem or not?

It's actually optional! You don't need to connect the front USB ports if you choose not to, so don't worry too much about that.

But I really want to use the front USB ports!
