Hey everyone! I'm mainly into gacha games like Genshin Impact and League of Legends, and while they don't have strict hardware requirements, I want to plan for the future. I play at 1080p with a refresh rate of 144Hz, and I'm wondering if I really need to invest in an AM5 setup and DDR5 RAM. Also, I'm interested in getting an NVIDIA graphics card for its DLSS technology. Any suggestions for a good CPU and NVIDIA GPU combo? I'm dreaming about an RTX 5070 Ti and a Ryzen 7800X3D, but the total cost would go over 2000 euros!

If lag's an issue, it might help to upgrade your CPU to a Ryzen 5600 along with getting a solid GPU like the RX 9060 XT with 16GB. That should keep you running smoothly for the next several years. Your current 16GB RAM and Vega 56 could use an upgrade, but this combo should do the trick.
If you can snag an AM4 X3D CPU like the 5500X3D or 5700X3D at a good price, that could be a smart buy. Otherwise, the 5600 or 5700X are great options as well. Just ensure your power supply has enough juice, especially if you’re getting a new GPU. Personally, I think the 5500X3D with a 5070 Ti would be ideal, but know that it could push your budget over.
I'd recommend sticking to the Ryzen 5600 series—either the X or non-X model. Pair it with whatever graphics card fits your budget. My setup (Ryzen 5600X with RX 9070) handles 1440p just fine, so a 9060 XT or even something from the 6000 or 7000 series would serve you well at 1080p.
For games like Genshin and LoL, your current setup is more than enough. If you don't mind buying used parts, you can upgrade to a Ryzen 5600X and an RTX 3060 for around 300 euros. It's really overkill to switch to AM5 right now, especially given your current gaming needs.
In the EU, check out the 7500X3D which has recently dropped in price. I saw it for around 215 euros. Might be worth considering to fit your upgrade needs!
