I'm just starting out with web development and I'm wondering if I actually need to know any math for this field. My math skills are only up to high school level, so I'm curious about how much of a concern this should be for me.

For web development, you really just need a basic understanding of algebra. That should cover most of what you'll encounter as you start building websites.
You'll mainly need basic math skills for programming. It's not overly complicated unless you dive into more advanced stuff like data analysis. I had some trouble with division before, but I watched a few YouTube videos for about 30-45 minutes and now it’s all good! High school math is typically more than enough to get you started in web development.
My foundation in math is decent for now, but what kind of advanced topics do you see being used in higher-level work?
Thanks for that! Are there specific algebra topics I should be focusing on?
