I'm wondering if there are fans specifically designed for intake and exhaust purposes. I need to get three 120mm fans for exhaust, and I'm aiming for cheaper options without RGB lighting. Here are my PC specs if they help: Ryzen 5 7600x3d, AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT (ASUS Prime model), 32GB 6000MT/s CL30 DDR5 memory, a 2TB 2280 NVMe drive (Crucial T710), and an MSI MAG Tomahawk WiFi motherboard. Thanks in advance for the help!

I recommend going for PWM fans (4-pin). They're speed-controlled, which means they’ll be quiet when your PC is at cooler temperatures and ramp up when it needs more cooling. There are many affordable PWM options that won't break the bank.

All fans are fundamentally the same; you just need to mount them so that they direct air correctly. You can also get reversible fans which have a different aesthetic but don't change performance at all.

If you're looking for something specific, you can look for fans that are marketed as 'reverse' fans. Just keep in mind that the performance won't change much; it's mostly about how they look inside your case.

In terms of performance, consider that some fans are designed for high airflow while others focus on static pressure. Most fans balance between the two, but if you're using them for a liquid cooling radiator, higher static pressure fans would be better.
