Do I Need Specific Motherboard or Software for RGB Control?

I'm using Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5 with RGB fans that are lighting up, but they're stuck on just one color. I've downloaded the fan brand's software, but nothing seems to be working. My motherboard is the X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming, and the RGB fan model is 202000040-gp. I bought the case second-hand, and it came with three RGB fans and one regular fan for around $30 CAD (or $22 USD). Can I control the RGB lights, or do I need specific software or a certain brand?

I looked it up, and since your motherboard is a X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming, it should have the necessary headers. If it's all connected right and the software isn't working, there could be a compatibility issue with the RGB fans. Sometimes, trying a different software solution or checking for firmware updates can help too.

You definitely need to check if your motherboard has ARGB headers to control the RGB lighting. Make sure to look at your motherboard manual for details on how to connect them properly.
