Do I Need to Learn Older Technologies for a Job in Frontend Development?

I'm curious about whether it's necessary to learn older technologies like jQuery, Bootstrap, or PHP to land a job in frontend development. I recently watched a video by a channel (I think it was Codehead or something similar) discussing a roadmap for front-end developers. There are so many frameworks available now, like Remix and Next.js, and as someone who's not from a computer science background, the whole process feels quite overwhelming. I'd love some guidance on whether I should focus on these older frameworks/languages and what a good learning path for frontend development looks like. Thanks in advance for any advice!

JQuery and Bootstrap aren't programming languages; they're frameworks and libraries. It's essential to learn how to adapt because you'll encounter a range of technologies, both old and new. For front-end work, start with something that's in high demand like JavaScript, paired with a popular framework like Vue, React, or Angular. Don't worry too much about older frameworks unless they're specifically required for the job you want. Just focus on building a solid foundation.

Yeah, it's crucial to at least know the difference between languages and frameworks. It'll definitely affect how you come across in interviews.
