Hey everyone! I have my two monitors connected to a 9070 XT. My main monitor is a 32-inch at 165 Hz using DisplayPort, and my second monitor is a 24-inch at 180 Hz connected through HDMI. I have the second one in portrait mode and don't really use it for gaming. Should I lower the refresh rate of my second monitor to match my main one at 165 Hz, or is it fine to leave it as is?

As a general rule, you can keep the refresh rates different. Your GPU should manage them separately just fine. I have a setup with a 144Hz ultrawide and a 60Hz monitor, and they work perfectly together.
I don't think you need to match them. The GPU can handle different refresh rates without any issues. If you want to save some energy, you could lower it, but it’s not necessary.
Unless you’re experiencing any issues, keep both at their highest refresh rates. I run 240 Hz on my main and 165 Hz on my second monitor with no problems at all.
Honestly, it doesn't matter much. But I do wonder if you really need that 180 Hz for a portrait display. Is it worth it?
Adjusting it to 120 Hz could save some resources, but it depends on what you're using it for.
I don’t really need the 180 Hz. Would lowering it to 120 help ease up on the GPU a bit?
