I'm currently using a Prime A320M-K motherboard with an AMD Ryzen 3 3200G. I'm planning to upgrade to an AMD Ryzen 5 5600, but I want to know if I need to update my BIOS to make this work. Right now, I have UEFI, but I'm not sure if that affects anything. How can I check my BIOS version, and do I really need to update?

You're likely going to need a BIOS update for that upgrade. It's essential to know what version your current BIOS is and what CPU you're moving to. Since you're upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600, make sure you're on the correct BIOS version which should be at least 5862 for it to be recognized. You can usually check the version when you boot your PC.

I just checked mine and the version is 5602. How do I go about updating it?
