I recently upgraded my graphics card, but I didn't update my motherboard before selling my old one. Now, my current motherboard doesn't have integrated graphics, meaning I can't boot up. Instead of taking it to a computer shop, I'm considering upgrading the motherboard as well. My budget for this upgrade is between $250 and $500. Can anyone clarify if I really need to upgrade the motherboard and what I should do?

It sounds like you might be having issues getting your new graphics card to display. You actually don't need to update your motherboard when you swap graphics cards. Can you describe what's happening when you boot it up? Are you getting a blank screen? That could point to other issues, like needing to update the BIOS if it’s not recognizing the GPU. But typically, the motherboard itself doesn’t need an update just for this.
Yeah, when I try to boot up, the screen stays blank. I’ve tested with two HDMI cables directly from the motherboard and the GPU, but nothing shows up. I've heard some conflicting info about needing a BIOS update, but I'm not sure since there isn’t any display. What do you think I should do next?
