Do I Need to Upgrade My PSU for a 9800X3D?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to swap out my I7-11700KF, which has a TDP of 125, for a 9800X3D that has a TDP of 120. Currently, I'm using a 700W AIGO EP700 PSU, and it's been powering my 5070TI without any issues. Considering this change, do you think I'll need a new PSU? I'd appreciate some experienced opinions on this!

Honestly, I wouldn't trust that PSU with anything serious, let alone powering a 9800X3D and a 5070TI long-term. It's better to go for something reliable like a Super Flower Leadex 850W or a Corsair RM 850W. Just don't risk it!

Wait, if my PSU is 80 Plus Gold certified, does that mean it's soft enough to wipe with?

Your ass would be shocked even with a Corsair 1000W Platinum!
