I'm building a new system and upgrading from an Intel i7-9700K to an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. I plan to do a fresh install of Windows 11 since I'll be using a different CPU. Currently, I'm on Windows 10 installed on an M.2 SSD, which I will wipe. However, I'm wondering if I also need to wipe my other SSDs that have games and personal files stored on them. Could someone clarify what the best approach is for this?

No need to wipe the others at all. Just make sure to delete any old installations on them. If you're worried about losing something, a good idea is to get a new M.2 drive, copy everything from your old drive to the new one, and then do the install on the new drive. That way, you have a backup.
Just move your SSD into the new build and let Windows 10 recognize the new hardware. You can then upgrade to Windows 11 without having to do anything fancy. It’ll save you the hassle of transferring games and files around.
You don't have to wipe anything! If you want to play it safe, just disconnect your other SSDs when you install Windows 11. Once it's installed, it’ll grab the necessary drivers automatically. After that, reconnect your SSDs and everything should work fine. Just remember to back up your important files, just in case!
You probably don't *need* to wipe your drives, but for a smoother experience, a fresh install is recommended to avoid any driver conflicts. Since you're starting new, it’s just easier to start clean. That said, for your other SSDs, there’s no need to wipe them, especially if they just contain files and games. You can keep those as is.
