I've heard some people say that using all 4 RAM slots on an AM5 motherboard can actually hurt performance. If that's the case, would it be okay for me to go with a motherboard that has just 2 slots? I also noticed that boards with 2 slots are cheaper by around €30. Here's one I'm considering: Asrock B650M-HM2. Is that a decent choice?

Honestly, if you don’t need the extra slots, there’s no point in overpaying. Just stick with two slots unless you know you’ll need more memory down the road.
Just a heads up, be cautious with Asrock boards if you’re eyeing a Zen 5 X3D CPU. They're not always the most reliable choice. Though, if you're getting a 7500F, you should be okay there!
It really depends on your specific needs. Four slots are primarily beneficial for those who want a lot of capacity but won’t necessarily improve performance for everyone. If you don't plan to use more than 32GB, you’ll be just fine with two slots!

Good to know! So you're saying I won't have issues with that combo?
