I'm currently using a Ryzen 9 5950X with an RTX 3070, and I'm about to swap out for a Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming graphics card. My setup runs on a 750W PSU. Gigabyte suggests I should have an 850W PSU, but PCPartPicker estimates that with the new card, my system will only draw around 598W. Should I upgrade my power supply, or is my current 750W sufficient?

Your current PSU looks good to go! PCPartPicker's wattage can be a bit misleading. The Ryzen 9 5950X at stock rarely peaks above 95W, so you shouldn't worry about hitting power limits with the RX 9070 XT.
You should be just fine with your 750W PSU. It's common for GPU manufacturers to recommend higher wattage than needed, just to cover their bases. Many have found that 750W is generally adequate for setups like yours.
That's a relief to hear! Thanks for the insight!
Totally agree! I think many people tend to overthink PSU wattage.
Nope, you won’t have an issue with 750W. It should handle the RX 9070 XT easily!
You’re likely fine. If your 750W PSU was ATX 3.x, you'd definitely be set, but since it's not, just keep an eye on performance under load. Newer ATX 3.x PSUs manage power spikes better, but you should still be alright with yours.
I was curious about this too! Glad to see it's a common concern.
Thanks for clarifying that! Really helps!
