Hey everyone! I've been spending the last few days piecing together my first PC build and I'm feeling a bit nervous about whether my selected parts are compatible and if I might be going a bit overboard with some of them. I really want to make sure everything works well together before I place my orders. Here's a link to my parts list: [PC Part Picker List](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/hZJ6xg). Any feedback or alternative suggestions would be super helpful! Thanks!

Overall, your build looks solid! Just make sure to update the BIOS right after you set everything up. For the CPU, the 7800x3D is definitely a good choice for 1080p and 1440p gaming, and it gives you future upgrade potential with AM5. The only thing to consider is if you really want 4K performance; keep in mind that it can push more on the GPU in those situations.
I recommend checking out bundled deals from places like Newegg. They often come with a guaranteed compatible motherboard, CPU, and RAM, so you won't run into issues. But honestly, the CPU and motherboard compatibility isn't as hard to mess up as it might seem. Just check the specs, and you should be good!
That's true! The motherboard specs will usually list compatible CPUs, so it’s navigable. Plus, building from scratch can be a fun challenge!
Thanks for the insight! I'm not planning to do 4K gaming, mostly 1440p and some CAD work. Now, I do see an incompatibility flag on my CPU and motherboard; is this something I should worry about?
