I'm curious about how my high knowledge base impacts my chat interactions with Claude. Specifically, if my knowledge base is over 90% as a pro user, does that mean I have a limited chat length in that project? I've noticed that with one project where my knowledge base is above 90%, I can't even manage to get it to run a single interaction. It feels counterproductive to have such a knowledge base if it restricts how much I can interact. Can anyone clarify this?

It sounds like you're running into the context window limit of the model, not an actual usage restriction. When your knowledge base is over 90%, you're essentially working within a 20k token context window for both your input and Claude's responses. That’s pretty tight, which explains why you can’t even get a prompt out of it.
Got it! So, what’s a good size to keep the knowledge base at to avoid this problem? I don’t want to keep hitting these limits.
