Hey folks! I recently tried out Linux Mint but wasn't too thrilled with it. However, I did enjoy using GNOME, which has led me to consider switching to Fedora. My question is whether the Fedora Media Writer checks the integrity and authenticity of the ISO file automatically. When I did this process with Mint using GnuPG, I was able to verify the ISO integrity, but I'm curious if Fedora does something similar.

Actually, Fedora Media Writer doesn’t automatically verify the ISO’s integrity. If you're worried about that, you can find instructions on how to check it manually on the Fedora website. Also, keep in mind, you’re not required to use Fedora Media Writer—you can download the ISO directly and use a USB tool like you did with Mint.
I’ve heard some folks say it does check integrity, at least for the file itself. You might want to look into that just to be extra sure!
You don’t really need to stress about checking the integrity too much. If you download the ISO from the official Fedora site, it should be safe. I personally used Ventoy for my install, and it worked out just fine for me!
