I'm testing out Foxit PDF Editor to see if it can replace Adobe Acrobat, and I've noticed that while it seems like the Foxit updater doesn't need admin rights, the official documentation suggests that it does. Has anyone here used Foxit PDF Editor long enough to know if updates actually require admin rights?

Yes, in my experience, the Foxit PDF Editor does need admin rights for major updates. There are a few minor patches that might not require them, but the big ones always do. They provide an MSP update file that you can push remotely, which is how I've been managing updates on my machines.
That's good to know! I wish it had an updater like Chrome's. Since only about 25% of our users have the full version of the PDF Editor, I'll need to set up a group in Intune for those users. Not the end of the world, but something to keep in mind. Thanks for the heads-up!
