I'm curious about how small employers are perceived when it comes to job applications for DevOps positions. What's the minimum size of a company that actually makes a difference on a resume? I have experience working for a smaller company, but it feels like interviewers often overlook or discount that entirely, treating my background as if I have no experience at all. Can anyone shed some light on this?

While working for smaller employers isn't irrelevant, there are definitely some things you might be missing compared to larger companies, like navigating bureaucratic red tape. Larger organizations might have more segmented roles, which can limit your responsibilities.
I totally get that. My last job had around 9,000 employees, and we definitely had some segmentation issues too. Now, I'm at a place with 44,000 employees, and it feels like I'm just coasting through. I'm not utilizing my skills at all.
