Ever Feel Withdrawn After Finishing a Coding Project?

I've just completed a big project after weeks of hard work and even deployed it a couple of days ago. I was looking forward to taking a break from coding, but now that it's over, I can't seem to stop! I started another project, but I feel this weird pressure to keep coding and everything else seems boring. Gaming, hanging out, watching movies—nothing feels enjoyable anymore. It's like I'm in this strange loop of thinking I should be coding instead of doing anything else. Has anyone else felt this way? How did you get through it?

Yeah, it sounds almost normal. I've had periods where I had multiple jobs and would still think about the last project I worked on. You can't just switch off your brain after a project ends.

For sure, I've just wrapped up another project and I still want to add even more features to it! It's hard to let go sometimes.

I totally get this feeling. When I'm really invested in a project, it becomes an obsession! But then I burn out and it gets tough to take a break. It's even in my dreams sometimes!

Absolutely! I've felt like this for years. It's tough to realize how much life I've missed out on by staring at a screen all day. If you can take some time off to do other activities, I really recommend it!
