I've noticed that a lot of incoming emails from outside our organization are delayed significantly, sometimes taking 20-30 minutes to arrive or not coming through at all. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

I’m also seeing delays across lots of clients today, so it’s not just you!

I’m not seeing any issues on my end. Just wondering, do you have any filtering services like Proofpoint or Mimecast in place? That could be causing some delays.

If you're running a hybrid setup, it’s crucial to keep your on-prem Exchange servers updated. Otherwise, Microsoft may throttle or halt mail delivery. You can temporarily pause this enforcement for 90 days.

No reports of issues in our tenant. What’s your email filtering service and where are you located? I’m based in the US.

We use Spam Titan for filtering.

Sounds like you might be dealing with a mail routing issue. If you have a scanning service ahead of your server, that could be it. If you're hosting the server yourself, try restarting the transport service. If this is a hosted solution, consider opening a support ticket.

We do have a spam filter in place, and while most users are getting their 2FA emails, some aren’t receiving them at all, which used to come through just fine.
