Experiencing Delays with RingCentral Fax?

I've been dealing with ongoing delays for months when sending faxes through RingCentral. On days when this occurs, every outbound fax we attempt seems to get stuck for hours. It doesn't matter how many pages we're sending. I've tried reaching out to their support, but they keep pushing back, suggesting the issue could be our network or that the recipient's line is busy. This doesn't make much sense to me since our team sends faxes from various networks, and we have countless recipients experiencing the same delay. Has anyone else faced this issue? What have your experiences been like? I'm tempted to switch providers, but their rates are so appealing that I'm hesitant (though I guess you get what you pay for).

There are a ton of affordable online fax services available. For a quick option, you could try something like 1fax.com; they offer live tracking which can be really helpful. However, if you need something that integrates well, consider the ones that fit your critical systems instead.

Unfortunately, RingCentral is one of only a couple of options that work with our vital systems, so we're pretty limited.

Is the RingCentral fax feature a standalone app or is it built into the overall RingCentral service? Just wondering if that might affect the performance.

When you're experiencing delays across all outbound faxes, it usually relates to how the jobs are queued or processed upstream—it's likely not a local network issue. If timely fax delivery is crucial for your business, consider services that prioritize reliability and transparency over just price.

Honestly, I've got to ask—why are you still using fax? It's kind of outdated. There are better solutions if you can make the case for a modern approach.

I know, right? But legally and in healthcare, we still have to use it. It's frustrating, and we can't just snap our fingers to make it go away. However, it might be worth pushing for a better alternative since this is affecting our revenue.
