I've recently upgraded my GPU from a 3070 to a 5070 Ti while using a 12400F CPU. I'm noticing disappointing performance in games like Cyberpunk, where I get around 80 fps and only 60% GPU utilization, which feels only slightly better than what I had before. Sometimes, my GPU spikes to 99% utilization, and I hit 120 fps that others with the same setup report. Similar issues happen in Helldivers 2 and Starfield, with low fps and GPU usage. However, I'm seeing decent performance in other games like Indiana Jones and God of War. I'm confused because it seems like others with the same setup aren't experiencing these low utilization issues. Should I consider upgrading to a 14600K with a new motherboard, or maybe wait for RAM prices to drop for an AM5 upgrade? Should I just make peace with my current performance?

Honestly, it sounds like your spec setup is really limiting performance. I had a similar experience when I moved to a 5070 Ti. A CPU upgrade is pretty much a must if you want consistent performance across the board.
It sounds like you're hitting a CPU bottleneck here, especially if you’re on DDR4. Are you comparing yourself with people possibly using DDR5? That could explain the difference in performance. Your current 12400F is a bit underwhelming for the 5070 Ti. If you can, consider a CPU upgrade to really see the benefits.
Yeah, I think that's definitely a factor! What do you think I should do next? Should I just go for a new motherboard and the 14600K, or hold off for AM5 and DDR5 when prices drop?
Have you tried Process Lasso? Disabling CPU core 0 for your game really boosted my FPS from 100-150 to between 180-250. It's worth testing out!
Also, turning down crowd density and other CPU-heavy settings could really help improve your FPS without needing hardware upgrades right away.
You don't really need a new motherboard for the 14600K; it should work fine in yours. Just keep in mind the discussions about VRM throttling with the H610. Some say that only impacts benchmarks, not gaming, so it might be worth a shot.
That makes sense, but I've heard VRM issues can be tricky. I'm wondering if I should be concerned about it during gaming.

I'm on DDR4 3200MHz with 32GB, using an H610 mobo. Do you think it's worth it to upgrade to the 14600K or hang tight for AM5?
