Experiencing Overheating After Upgrading My CPU – What Should I Do?

I recently upgraded my CPU from an Intel i7 8700 to a Ryzen 5700x3d, but I didn't change my cooler when I did this. I've also only got one case fan in my setup. During some gaming tests, I noticed that both my CPU and GPU (a 6750xt) are hitting temperatures around 86-87 degrees Celsius. Should I be looking at adding more case fans, or is it better to just replace the CPU cooler? Right now, I'm using a Cooler Master Z50 cooler.

First off, what case are you using? Even the best cooler won't perform well if it’s not getting enough fresh air. If you're lacking airflow, adding a couple of case fans could make a big difference!

I'm using the Medusa TG FRGB Xigmatek case, but I only have the rear fan installed right now.
