Hey everyone! I've been running into some errors and disconnections while playing VALORANT recently. The support team suggested it might be due to packet loss on my internet connection. I tested ping to 8.8.8.8 and to my local IP (192.168.1.1), and everything showed 0 packet loss. However, when I used PingPlotter, it indicated that there's packet loss happening. Here's the weird part – my games seem to run smoothly without any lag or high ping, even though PingPlotter shows some packet loss at certain points. I've got the PingPlotter tests linked here:

PingPlotter to my local IP 192.168.1.1: [https://imgur.com/a/yztqc0B](https://imgur.com/a/yztqc0B)
Why do I see packet loss on PingPlotter at points 1, 4, and 5, but 0 when I test via command prompt? I'm new to all of this and could really use some guidance on interpreting these results. Thanks a ton!

It sounds like your command prompt tests are showing solid performance, so that's a good sign! The packet loss in PingPlotter could be happening outside your home network – sometimes issues can arise with your ISP or beyond, which you can’t control. Keep testing, but if you're not experiencing lag during gameplay, it might not be a huge issue.
Have you tried using a tool like [internetsecure.org](https://internetsecure.org/ip/monitor) to see if the problem lies on your side or with your ISP? It's a handy way to visualize issues. Just ran it and got stable connections and no packet loss detected!
