Experiencing Performance Issues After Upgrading to a New SSD?

I recently upgraded my laptop's storage from a 500GB NVMe SSD to a 2TB SSD. After reinstalling Windows, I've noticed a significant drop in performance when playing video games. For example, I used to enjoy 300-400 FPS in Valorant, but now it's only around 100-150, accompanied by some stuttering. I've attempted to reinstall the drivers, but I'm not entirely sure if I did it correctly. Just for reference, I have an MSI Thin 15 B12V laptop. Any insights on what might be causing this issue?

You might want to check the generation of your new SSD. If you ended up with a lower generation SSD, it could impact your load times and overall performance.

It should be a WD SN7100 PCIe Gen 4 SSD, so it should be fine in terms of generation.
