Hey everyone, I recently built a new PC, but I've been dealing with some frustrating stuttering in games like GTA Enhanced and DayZ. I checked all the components—temperatures, clock speeds, and there's no bottleneck—in fact, everything else runs smoothly. After playing around with it, I decided to test my NVMe SSD since it was performing well previously. I even reinstalled Windows on a SATA SSD, and everything was running perfectly until today when the same stuttering issues popped up. Now I'm wondering if this could be a BIOS issue? I tried disabling some power-saving features and switched my PCIe lanes from Auto to Gen4, but nothing seems to fix the stutters, which only occur during gaming. Any insights would be appreciated!

I can relate to your struggle! I ran into similar problems with my NVMe drive. Try checking its health; if it's around 89% like you mentioned, it might not be the end of the world, but running tests with software like CrystalDiskMark can give you better insight. Sometimes stuttering can also stem from something as odd as driver issues, so don't forget to update those!
It sounds like you've done quite a bit of troubleshooting already! Have you checked if your NVMe drive has the latest firmware? Also, make sure to verify the NVMe speed settings in the BIOS and ensure it’s properly seated in the right slot. Running a test scan on the SSD could help identify any issues with read/write speeds.
