I just got a Lenovo Legion Pro 7 equipped with an RTX 5080, 32 GB of RAM, and an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, hoping to enjoy a smooth gaming experience. However, I've been facing stuttering problems in various games. For instance, I notice minor stuttering in Arc Raiders, significant stuttering in Bloodhunt, but Battlefield 6 runs very smoothly. I ran some tests using LatencyMon, and the results suggest my system struggles with real-time audio and other tasks, likely due to DPC routing by drivers. I've already checked for BIOS updates and done a bunch of optimization like updating drivers, tweaking NVIDIA settings, and managing power options, but there's still some stuttering, which I find frustrating considering how powerful this laptop is. I'm hoping to find a solution that will let me fully enjoy my gaming sessions without compromise.

Have you checked the temperatures of your CPU and GPU? Using LibreHardwareMonitor can help you keep an eye on that. Make sure the laptop is well-ventilated—you don't want it to overheat during gaming sessions!
You might want to adjust your processor settings by setting the minimum processor state to 5% and keeping the maximum at 100%. Also, try re-enabling the high precision event timer since that could help. If problems continue, consider rolling back your NVIDIA drivers to a more stable version. Don't forget to disable services like Lenovo Vantage and Nahimic Audio in msconfig. Let me know if that helps!
I didn’t think about rolling back to a stable driver, but I’ll definitely try that! I heard studio-ready drivers might be more reliable than game-ready ones. Any thoughts on that?
Check out some detailed optimization steps in this guide. Follow the instructions, especially steps 9, 10, and 11-NV, to see if it can help improve your laptop's performance. If issues persist, step 16 might also provide some insights. Let me know how it goes!
Thanks! I’ll definitely go through those steps and see if anything works. My first attempt will be rolling back to a stable driver like 576.80.

I’ll use MSI Afterburner or LibreHardwareMonitor as you suggested. My laptop’s propped up for airflow, so I hope the temps are okay, but I haven’t actually checked while gaming yet. Thanks for the tip!
