I've been dealing with some frustrating crashes on my computer over the last couple of days. When it crashes, it's not a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), but rather a message flashes for a few seconds saying something like, "Items don't match, we had to restart because of a problem." I've already had this happen several times today. I'm planning to jot down the exact message the next time it occurs, but in the meantime, I was wondering if anyone has insights or suggestions on what might be causing this. Recently, I've installed two Microsoft updates—one today and another a day or so ago—and I also updated PowerToys. Any thoughts?

The crashes might very well be linked to the recent Microsoft update or the PowerToys update. As a quick test, you could try uninstalling PowerToys and see if that resolves the issue. If the problem continues, using System Restore to roll back the Windows Update could also help.
Are those two dump files you mentioned, $R02B0ND.dmp and $R631J95.dmp, related to the BSOD? If you experienced any changes, it could still be worth looking into them.
It sounds like you might need to check for any dump files that can help diagnose if these crashes are related to BSODs. If you can access Windows normally or through Safe Mode, navigate to C:WindowsMinidump and see if there are any files there. If you find any, zip that folder and upload it to a file sharing site like MediaFire or Catbox. Multiple files would be ideal for troubleshooting, and make sure to configure your settings according to guides on creating minidumps if you don’t have many.

Well, it didn't show a BSOD, but the error message I got before the crash said, "We ran into a problem and had to restart your machine." So it seems like it could be tied to the same issue.
