I recently upgraded my gaming rig to a 9070 XT and a 7800X3D from an RTX 4060 and an 8700F. Initially, this upgrade resolved a problem where my Nvidia GPU was hogging my CPU resources, but I've started noticing issues popping up again. Recently, my PC has been stuttering significantly and appears to be using the integrated graphics instead of my dedicated GPU, even though my monitor is connected to the GPU. I'm not sure why these problems are occurring since I haven't made any major changes to my setup since the upgrade.

Could you clarify what you mean by your Nvidia GPU 'sucking dry' your CPU? It sounds like it was causing a lot of CPU usage until you switched to the AMD setup.
Yeah, I was confused too when that started happening. It could be a driver conflict or perhaps some power settings causing it to default back to integrated graphics. Setting your graphics preference might help.
That's weird! So your CPU was battling those drivers, and now it seems like the integrated graphics are taking over without any obvious changes? Have you tried reinstalling your graphics drivers or checking for any updates?

I was stuck with the newer Nvidia drivers, and during usage, the 'system' process in Task Manager was using up to 30% of my CPU consistently.
