I'm experiencing a strange problem with our office computers. We have a mix of domain-joined and non-domain machines, and I've noticed that only the domain computers are having issues with explorer.exe crashing. When it happens, the taskbar disappears, the screen goes black with just the cursor visible, and explorer.exe won't launch automatically at startup unless I manually start it from the command line. Has anyone encountered this before? I'm looking for any suggestions or solutions, thanks!

You should check your Group Policy Objects (GPOs). A good approach is to create a new Organizational Unit (OU) that doesn't have any GPOs applied and move a few test machines into it to see if the issue persists.
Consider using Process Monitor, a Microsoft Sysinternals tool, to keep an eye on explorer.exe and see what's going wrong in the background.
I had a similar problem once that turned out to be caused by folder redirection. Once I disabled the redirection, explorer started working fine again.
