Hey everyone! I'm putting together my first gaming PC and I've set a budget of around €2,500. My main goal is to enjoy gaming at 1440p with high FPS in modern titles like Battlefield 6, Destiny 2, Elden Ring, Counter-Strike 2, GTA 6, and Squad, ideally at max or near-max settings. I'm also aiming for a cool and quiet setup that will be future-proof for a few years. Here's what I have so far for my parts list:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor – €366.89
- **CPU Cooler:** NZXT Kraken 360 78.02 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler – €160.95
- **Motherboard:** MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi ATX AM5 – €146.41
- **Memory:** Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 – €118.90
- **Storage:** Crucial T500 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD – €149.90
- **Video Card:** MSI Gaming Trio OC GeForce RTX 5080 16 GB – €1329.00
- **Case:** NZXT H7 Flow (2024) ATX Mid Tower – €109.90
- **Power Supply:** MSI MAG A850GL PCIe5 850W 80+ Gold Fully Modular ATX – €108.06
**Total:** ~€2,490

I'm looking for your thoughts:
1. Are these parts compatible and will they perform well together?
2. Any suggestions for better price-to-performance?
3. Is the 360mm AIO cooler too much for the 7800X3D, or is it worth it for cooler temps and quieter operation?
4. Will the RTX 5080 fit well in the NZXT H7 Flow without issues?
5. Any other feedback is welcome! Thanks!

I'd go for CL30 RAM and stick with an air cooler to save costs. You might also consider the 9800X3D, which could work well with the RTX 5080.
1. Yes, these parts are compatible.
2. If it were me, I’d skip the Kraken cooler since it’s a bit pricey. A more affordable Arctic cooler could be better. Don’t forget to also consider 6k30 RAM!
3. A 360mm cooler is fine if you want lower temps and noise, but you have the option of a compact air cooler if you prefer.
4. No issues; the RTX 5080 fits perfectly in that case.
For the CPU cooler, I’d recommend switching to the Peerless Assassin or Phantom Spirit instead of that AIO. Also, consider the B850 motherboard, it works great and can save you some cash. Everything else in your list looks good!
Thanks for the suggestions!
If I switch to the Arctic Liquid Freezer 3, I'll save €70. Do you think adding three extra fans would be enough for good airflow?
