Hey everyone! I'm new to building PCs and I've put together a list of components for a gaming rig. Here's what I'm considering:
- **Processor:** Intel Core i7 12700F (4.8GHz, 12 cores, 20 threads)
- **Processor Cooling:** DeepCool Ag400 Air Cooler
- **Case:** Antec CX200M Tempered Glass RGB M-ATX Case
- **Motherboard:** Intel B760 [M-ATX] DDR5 WiFi Motherboard
- **Graphics Card:** NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 TI 8GB
- **Memory:** 32GB [6000MHz] RGB DDR5 RAM (2x16GB modules)
- **Operating System SSD:** 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD
- **Power Supply:** 750W 80 Plus Gold
- **Networking:** On-Board [Wired] Ethernet Port
I'd love to hear your thoughts on these specs! Thanks in advance!

Honestly, I'm not too sold on your build. The CPU is decent but it's a bit outdated at this point. The 4060 Ti really isn’t the best value for what you’re getting, and while having 32GB of RAM is great, it might be better to allocate that budget toward a stronger GPU like the 7700XT or 5060 Ti. By the way, what's your budget for the build and where are you sourcing your parts from?
If you're looking to future-proof your build, I’d suggest going for an AM5 setup. The 7500F with a B850M motherboard would be a better choice for long-term performance.
That Ethernet port comment caught my attention—is this a prebuilt? Usually, if it’s highlighted, it suggests the parts are from a prebuilt setup. Also, your setup leans towards the lower end currently.

I was aiming for around $2100 AUD, which comes to about $1300 USD for all the parts.
