Hey everyone! I've been using a MacBook for a while, and I'm finally making the switch to a PC as a birthday gift to myself for my 20th—super excited! 🎉 I put together this list of parts with very little knowledge, so I'd love any feedback you have on whether I should swap anything out. I'm aiming for an aesthetically pleasing white setup (yeah, I know there's a bit of a price hike for that). Here's what I've got:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core (part of a $600 bundle with motherboard + memory)
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX V2 ATX AM5
- **GPU**: XFX Swift OC Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB ($530)
- **Cooler**: Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX LCD 73.5 CFM Liquid ($220)
- **Memory**: G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-6000 ($--)
- **SSD**: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 5.0 X2 NVME ($170)
- **Case**: Corsair iCUE LINK 3500X RGB ATX Mid Tower ($120)
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM850e (2025) 850 W Fully Modular ATX ($155)
- **Monitor**: Dell Alienware AW3225DM 32" VA LED Curved QHD 180Hz ($320)
After adding a few extras like a keyboard, mouse, and soundbar, the total is around $2,500. How does it look? Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

Honestly, I think you did a great job for your first build! Just keep an eye out on the GPU as some games may require a bit more power at higher settings. But if you’re mainly gaming at 1080p or 1440p, you should be just fine!
Your build looks solid for a first timer! The only thing I’d suggest is considering an upgrade to an RX 9070 or 9070 XT if your budget allows. The 9060 XT might struggle a bit at 3440x1440 resolution. If you list out the prices for your components, I could help you scout for better deals too!
