Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on a gaming PC I'm building after a few years of stepping away from gaming. I've put together a part list that I think should work well, but I'd love to hear your thoughts. My budget is roughly €1000, and here's the link to my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BZ2kmC. Do you think I should change anything?

Your build looks good overall, but you could save some cash by going for a cheaper motherboard. You can find decent B650 boards for about €130-140 instead of the €180 one you picked. Also, the RAM can be upgraded to 6000MHz CL30, which would still fit within your budget if you prioritize it. Upgrade to a better GPU like the 6700 XT for good performance at 1440p!

That makes sense. I definitely want to make sure I can game at 1440p!

Yeah, and with the savings, look for a quality 750W PSU. You won't need to spend a lot on the case; there are great options for around €70.

I would recommend switching the RAM for something faster like G Skill, and definitely consider upgrading your GPU to either a 4060 or a 6750 XT. While the CPU and cooler are solid, other components could use a bit of tweaking to maximize your gaming experience!

I noticed you're building from Portugal! Here’s a slightly modified build that’s a bit over budget, but it’s worth it: [PCPartPicker List](https://pt.pcpartpicker.com/list/rQDzjn). The CPU I picked comes with a stock cooler, which could save you some money as well. If budget is tight, you might want to think about downgrading the GPU.

Here’s another adjusted build for you: https://pt.pcpartpicker.com/list/wPWrnp. It includes a full-sized motherboard with Wi-Fi support, which can be super handy.

Thanks for the help! I appreciate the local context!

I took a look at your build and made some adjustments. It's slightly over budget by €50, but it features a solid RX 7800 XT GPU. Check it out here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Jf98C8. I think it’s a great option for gaming!

I agree, the RX 7800 XT is a solid choice! But if you want a better deal, consider this RAM instead: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/2JLFf7/teamgroup-t-force-delta-rgb-32-gb-2-x-16-gb-ddr5-6000-cl30-memory-ff3d532g6000hc30dc01. It’s cheaper and has better timings.

Thanks for the tip! I'll check that RAM out!

One important note: don’t go for the 3060! It's definitely worth spending a bit more for a significantly better GPU, like the RX 7800 XT. It’s a great investment for performance!
