I'm in the process of building a PC and would love some feedback on the parts I've selected! Here's what I have so far:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (4.2 GHz, 8-Core)
- **CPU Cooler:** Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum V3
- **Motherboard:** MSI PRO B840-P WIFI ATX AM5
- **Memory:** Corsair Vengeance RGB (32 GB, 2 x 16 GB, DDR5-6000 CL40)
- **Storage:** Western Digital WD_BLACK SN7100 (1 TB, M.2-2280, PCIe 4.0 NVME)
- **Video Card:** Palit Infinity 3 OC GeForce RTX 5060 Ti (16 GB)
- **Case:** Montech X3 Glass ATX Mid Tower
- **Power Supply:** MSI MAG A600DN (600 W, 80+ Certified)

The 5060 Ti paired with the 7800X3D is decent, but you'll really need a 240Hz monitor for gaming at 1440P if you want good FPS in heavier games.
I'd suggest against using a single-fan CPU cooler with that Ryzen 7800X3D. The Thermalright Peerless Assassin would be a better choice for keeping temps down and noise levels quiet.
Will do, thanks for the tip!
If you snagged the CL40 RAM for such a low price, definitely keep it! There's no need to spend extra just to drop to CL30. Also, the 7800X3D is a bit overkill for a 5060 Ti; consider using a 9600X instead.
Consider upgrading to a B650 motherboard, getting a more powerful cooler, and choosing RAM with 6000 CL30 or CL32 ratings for better performance.
After checking your parts list, it seems like someone recommended you the RAM, so maybe stick with it since you got a good deal.

I picked up the CL40 RAM for just $11! Should I look for a 1080p monitor with higher refresh rates instead?
