I'm contemplating making the switch from console gaming to PC gaming. It's been a couple of years since I last considered this, and I'm amazed at how much prices have fluctuated since then! I'm looking for opinions on my current build. Here's the link for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/h8XkTm.

This build is a good starting point! If you're buying parts individually, consider checking out CPU bundles on sites like Newegg; you might save some cash there. Alternatively, a pre-built system with similar specs could be a better deal!
Overall, your build looks pretty decent! You could optimize a few parts for better performance, but for the price right now, it's solid. Just make sure to check if any specific parts go on sale to maximize your budget!
Honestly, with the current pricing on 5070 Ti graphics cards, I believe the 9070 XT is a better bang for your buck at around $710. Also, having a micro ATX board in a full tower case might work, but it does look a bit off. I swapped out to an ATX board for aesthetics and functionality. I also suggest the Phantom Spirit Evo cooler over the Peerless Assassin since it outperforms it. Lastly, I switched to the be quiet! 850W PSU which is cheaper but still top-tier. Overall, you could save about $300 by making these changes while upgrading a few parts too! Here's my build list for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JcQPsK
I've had issues with AMD drivers, though. I used to be a fan of AMD cards, but I had a lot of trouble with the 9070 XT. I'm leaning towards Nvidia for new builds these days.
I see your point, but I still think the experience with Nvidia is currently better. It's a tough choice for the OP.

What do you think needs optimizing?
