I recently upgraded my graphics card from a 3080 Ti to a 5080. Initially, everything seemed fine, but now Windows keeps failing, and I'm stuck in Safe Mode. I'm considering whether I should revert back to my old 3080. The only tool I can use right now is Bluescreenview.
I've tried reinstalling the 5080 driver several times, and it seems to work briefly, but after I restart, I end up back in the loop of constant restarts. For reference, I have a Corsair HX1000 80 Plus Platinum PSU.

To diagnose the BSODs accurately, you need to gather dump files. If you can boot into Windows or at least Safe Mode, check the path C:WindowsMinidump for any crash logs. Zip up any dump files you find and upload them to a file-sharing service like mediafire or catbox. Also, consider changing the dump settings to Small Memory Dump to collect more data next time.
It sounds like your motherboard might be running a BIOS version from 2022. I’d suggest updating it to the latest version available on the manufacturer’s website. This could resolve potential bugs that could be causing the crashes. After updating, check if the issues persist.
