Final Check on My Gaming PC Build Before Buying

Hey everyone! I'm ready to buy the parts for my gaming PC and would love your input before I finalize everything. The budget is around 1700 euros, and this setup is aimed at 1440p gaming at 180Hz. I'm planning to play games like Arma 3, Arma Reforger, CS2, Fortnite, Apex, and some single-player titles here and there.

I've put together a list of parts with prices from a local store (you can check it out here: https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/Zfrnkf). Let me know if you have any suggestions for upgrades or any issues with what I've chosen. Thanks!

Your build looks solid overall, but keep an eye on the RAM prices; they’re pretty outrageous right now! It’s a tough time to be building a PC. Just a heads-up, that NVMe drive has a low TBW rating, which might be risky for long-term use. Try to find one with a higher endurance rating, just to be safe.

I think you're totally right about the SSD. Getting something like a basic WD Green could be a better bet, even if the prices are kinda high now.

Yeah, I can’t wait for the RAM prices to drop either! It’s ridiculous. If you have to buy now, maybe just stick to your current plan until prices stabilize.

I've heard mixed reviews about ASRock motherboards frying AMD CPUs in the past. It might be smarter to go with MSI or Gigabyte instead, or double-check that the ASRock firmware is updated. It's crazy how much of your budget goes to RAM these days, I feel for you!

Thanks for the advice! Since this is my first time building a PC, I’m a bit lost on motherboards. Do you have any alternatives that are affordable?

If safety is a concern, switching brands for the motherboard isn't a bad idea, especially with higher-end chips.
