Hey everyone!
I've been thinking about building a gaming PC for the last couple of months. I had a custom build when I was a teenager, but that was over 15 years ago, so things have changed quite a bit. I'm pretty handy with software, and I feel confident handling BIOS and Windows installations, but I'm a bit out of my comfort zone when it comes to hardware.
I wanted to run my planned build by you all to see if there are any glaring mistakes or things I might be missing. Also, if I buy everything on my list, is that all I need, or is there anything else necessary for assembling the components? I forgot to include a CPU cooler in my list, not sure if that should be included. Here's a link to my PCPartPicker list: [PCPartPicker Link](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/8Wc9HW)

Overall, your parts list seems pretty good. I'd suggest looking at a slightly better-rated motherboard in the same price range. And you definitely want 6000 MHz CL30 RAM instead of what you have.
As for the GPU, the Intel card could work, but Intel's support for those cards may become less reliable. If your budget allows, consider the 9060XT as it's about 30-40% more powerful.
Also, don’t skimp on the power supply. You want one that's efficient and gives you room for future upgrades. All you really need besides what you listed is a Phillips screwdriver, thermal paste, and maybe a headband flashlight—they're super handy when you're building!

Oh wow, great advice! I was wondering about the thermal paste, so thanks for clarifying that. I’ll check my budget for the upgrades you suggested!
