Asked By TechWiz2000 On

I'm putting together my first gaming PC and I've chosen all AMD components. I opted for an R7 7800X3D and a SAPPHIRE PULSE 9070XT. Here's my full list of parts:
- R7 7800X3D
- SAPPHIRE PULSE 9070XT
- ThermalRight PhantomSpirit 120SE
- MSI B650 Gaming Plus
- CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 16X2 RAM 6000 MHZ
- Crucial P3 Plus 1TB
- Corsair RM750E
- MSI MAG FORGE 100M

Are there any potential issues I should know about before I start building?

You really don't need to stick strictly to AMD; if a 4070 Ti Super works better for your budget or gaming needs, don't hesitate to go for it!

750W is fine for now, but considering the prices, you might want to go for an 850W PSU instead. It's just a bit more and gives you room for upgrades.

I've had a 750W PSU fail on me prematurely, so I'd suggest getting the 850W for more reliability.

You should definitely check your parts on pcpartpicker.com to ensure compatibility. Also, for your RAM, you might want to specify if it's a single kit of 2x16 6000MTs CL30 to be clearer. Everything else looks good, though!

Don't forget to pick RAM that's certified for EXPO; it can help with overclocking.

Consider upgrading to a B850 motherboard instead of the B650. It'll unlock more features for your CPU, and the price difference is minimal. Here are some good options:
- Gigabyte B850 GAMING X WIFI6E
- ASRock B850 Steel Legend WiFi
- ASRock B850 LiveMixer WiFi

Regarding your case, you might want to look for alternatives like the Fractal Pop if the MSI case is pricey.

I'm paying about $71 for the MSI case here in Turkey, which seems like a solid deal! But I might have to stick to what's available since some brands aren't offered here.
