I'm building my first PC from scratch and have some experience upgrading parts like the graphics card and RAM on my prebuilt system. I'm feeling a bit lost about the installation process for my new parts, especially since I've never worked with the CPU or other components beyond that. I've heard it's a good idea to assemble everything on the motherboard outside of the case, but I'm unsure about the best order for installation or if I'm missing any important steps. Here's my parts list for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/P9QQt3. Any tips or common mistakes to avoid would be greatly appreciated!

First, secure the CPU in place (it can take a decent amount of force to lock it down), then add the cooler (it usually has thermal paste pre-applied). Install RAM; it should click into place, followed by the SSD on the motherboard. Once the motherboard is in the case, install the PSU and connect all cables, including the essential front panel connectors. Before closing up, try booting it to ensure everything posts!
Here’s a solid order to follow: Start by installing the CPU, RAM, SSD, and any cooler components onto the motherboard while it's outside the case. Next, put the power supply into the case and roughly route the cables where they'll need to go. After that, install the motherboard into the case, followed by the CPU cooler. Then, insert the GPU into the motherboard. Finally, connect all necessary cables, and you’re good to go!
There are tons of build guides available, so check out a few of them to familiarize yourself with the process. Building a PC doesn’t have one right way; find a guide you like and follow it step by step.
